Felipe has been working in different companies, such as GHD Group Chile, Unilink Solutions and Hibring Spa. Optimization, project management and software development are some of the skills developed in his jobs. Moreover, in his academic life, Felipe has participated as speaker in several Mathematics congress and meetings, such as the Summer School in Discrete Mathematics organized by the University of Chile and the National Meeting of Mathematical Engineering. This kind of event influenced him to did his thesis in Graph Theory co-authored with Dr. Julio Aracena and Dr. Christhopher Thraves.

In addition to his academic career, Felipe is involved in science communication. During his undergraduate, he worked as college ambassador in several academic fairs, he visited schools to do talks about physics and mathematics, and he also did television appearances.

Currently, he would like to continue his research in Graph Theory to one day start a PhD in the same field. He also is working as a Graduate Lab Assistant in the Math Assistance Complex (MAC), a walk-in tutoring center in where students from different mathematical course can go for assistance.
